Parris Island Cos Romaine Lettuce

If you love romaine lettuce and you only want to grow one variety, then I would highly recommend Parris Island Cos Romaine Lettuce – don’t worry it is spelled correcty!

Best Features:

1) Parris Island is cold tolerant and somewhat heat tolerant.

2)  Light green leaves with crisp spines.  Love the crunch in my salads!

3)  This romaine will get up to 12 Inches tall and 8 inches wide.

 

4)  Matures just under 70 days. Don’t worry if you can’t wait, you can always harvest some of the outer leaves.

5) It is an heirloom and is open pollinated.
