Lolla Rosa is another pretty lettuce! I have seen this lettuce with a slightly different spelling – Lollo Rossa. I’m not sure which spelling is correct – can’t we all agree to disagree!
Features:
1) It is a loose leaf lettuce.
2) It has ruby red leaves with a green base.
3) Lolla Rosa has frilly leaves.
4) It will germinate in 5 to 10 days.
5) This variety matures in about 55 days.
6) Optimal spacing is about 6 to 8 inches apart.
