Warm Season Vegetables

Warm Season Vegetables like warm weather which means warm air and soil temperatures (at least 50 to 60°F) even at night and long days of sunlight.  Their peak growing season is in the summer.  They hate frost!

Unlike Peas and Fava Beans which are Cool Season Vegetables, Beans (snap, shell and dried), Chick Peas, Soy Beans, Sweet Potatoes are warm season vegetables.

The rest of the warm season vegetables include Corn, Cucumbers, Eggplants, Peppers, Pumpkin, Summer and Winter Squash, Tomatillos, Tomatoes and Zuchetta.
