 This is the first year that I am growing the Marketmore Cucumber. Typically, I grow pickling cucumbers but I decided to try a larger slicing cucumber this year.
Features:
1) This cucumber will up to 8 inches long and 2 inches wide.
2) The Marketmore Cucumber plant will vine up to 6 feet long so be prepared with a trellis.
3) This variety is known for being disease resistant.
4) Marketmore matures in 60 days.
5) It is recommended to space the plants 12 inches apart.
6) Marketmore cucumbers have dark green and medium thick skin.
7) As you can see, they are a little prickly but who isn’t!
It has been a long time since we reviewed any cucumber varieties. The last one was the Baby Persian Cucumber.
