My stevia plant is growing tall and proud this year.
Features:
1) Stevia is very sweet like candy.
2) It is a calorie free sweetener for flavored waters, lemonade, tea and other drinks.
3) If given enough room, stevia can grow up to 2 1/2 feet tall and about 1 1/2 feet wide.
4) Around Pittsburgh, it is an annual. If you live in zones 10 and warmer, then you can grow it as a perennial.
5) Stevia leaves have toothed edges.
6) It grows well in the sun and part shade.
The last herb we talked about was sweet marjoram.
