Calendula Seed Ideas

Seed Ideas for Calendula

Love to grow calendula flowers. They bloom from spring to fall and attract lots of pollinators! Calendula is used to make cream, lotion and soaps. Also, calendula petals are edible. Some of the varieties come in single, semi double and double petals. Also, calendula can be used for fresh or dried flower arrangements.

Seed Ideas:

Pacific Beauty – this seed blend includes bright orange and yellow flower. I grow these every year.

Resina – another seed blend with bright orange and yellow flowers with gold centers.

Oopsy Daisy – this flower is orange, cream and yellow with bright orange tips.

Zeolights – this flower is so pretty. It has bronzy-orange petals that fade to light pink with a yellow middle and a maroon back.

Porcupine Mix – this variety has orange and yellow flower choices with quilled petals.

Pink Surprise – this flower is apricot tinged in pink with a brown center.

Snow Princess – this variety has shades of yellow and cream with a brown center.

Playtime Mix – while this mix looks perfect for a fall garden, it will bloom from spring to fall. Most of this blend has brown centers and petals that come in bright orange, pink or bronze combos.

I think Baker Creek and Botanical Interests have the best seed choices for calendula flowers.
