Since 2020, I’ve been growing the Pacific Beauty Calendula Blend which includes gold and orange flowers. Calendula’s common name is pot marigold.
Features:
1) This blend includes orange, yellow and apricot flowers that are up to 3 inches wide.
2) The flowers attract pollinators.
3) Pacific Beauty Calendula tolerates the cold and the heat so it blooms from spring until frost as long as you remove the spent flowers.
4) This blend is somewhat drought tolerant.
5) Pacific Beauty Calendula’s petals are edible.
6) They are nice in floral arrangements both inside and outside the home.
7) Some folks make hand cream from Calendula – I haven’t tried this yet!
8) The plant will get up to two feet tall and wide.
9) It grows well in full sun to part shade.
