Ornamental Tree Varieties

Japanese Maple Trees

While some trees bear edible fruit, others are embraced for their ornamental beauty.  Japanese Maple Trees fit the ornamental category!

Features:

1) Japanese Maple Trees like part to full sun.

2) These trees can vary from 2 to 30 feet tall – that is a big difference!  At this point, by Japanese Maple is 12 feet high by 12 feet wide.

3) The leaves come in shades of red, green, orange, purple, white and pink depending on the season.  My variety stay red year round.

4) Most Japanese Maple grow best in Zones 5 – 8.

5) There are many varieties to choose from, but of course, I didn’t save which variety I have.

6) We let our Japanese Maple grow a little off center.  See the photo!

7) In our yard, this tree is the last to bloom and the last to loose its leaves – it is a beauty!

So in the bloom category, I include flowers, house and outdoor plants, evergreens and trees.  The last review was the Magic Carpet Snapdragons.
