These flowers are at the end of our herb garden by the lovely bird house that my dear friend, Lisa bought me years ago.  Do you see the handsome dog in the background?  That is our Hoover!  Now let’s talk about these three flowers that are perennials.

The red flowers at the base of the bird house are called Fox Tail Clover (trifolium repens red feathers – can you say that 3 times fast?).  It blooms in the summer and likes sun or part sun.  This plant grows up to 24 inches tall and attacts butterflies and hummingbirds.

Next the yellow flower is Zagreb Tickseed which is a coreopsis flower. This flower blooms from late spring through summer.  This plant grows up to 12 inches high and 18 inches wide and likes full sun.  It likes dry conditions.

Next is the Shasta Daisy which blooms in the summer.  There are different varieties of this plant.  I started this plant from seed years ago so I don’t remember which type it is.  I can tell you that is hardy and blooms in the summer.
