Craft Beer from Pennsylvania

Fall Beer Flight at TWBC

While I’ve been sharing plant based cocktails, I think it is time to add a new category under Cocktails and Drinks called Craft Beer.

We finally made it to The Washington Brewing Co. (TWBC) with Hoover (Crazy for Gardening’s mascot) in Washington, PA.  It had a cool winterized porch which was dog friendly!  Now I am not a big fan of beer but our choices were absolutely delicious!  I am just going to include some of their descriptions – just because:

Studebaker IPA – New England / Hazy:

Mosaic Hops used for bittering bring out the fruity & tropical characteristics while dry hopping with Citivia enhances the aromatics.

Washington Lager Dark – Schwarzbier:

This one is a smooth, easy drinking dark lager that is dark in color and light in body with hints of chocolate and coffee flavors.

Washington Lager Amber – Amber Lager:

This beer is malty with caramel notes and low hop bitterness.  German red malts enhance the malty flavor and create the amber color.

Oh Gourd! It’s a Pumpkin Beer – Spiced Beer:

This pumpkin beer is a little sweet and spicy.  It includes a caramel and cinnamon sugar rim!

I have a yummy pizza to share with you next.
