The Summer Snowflake Virburnum is very beautiful from spring to early summer!
Features:
1) The best feature in the spring are the white flowers,
2) In the summer the green leaves are abundant.
3) In the fall the leaves turn reddish purple and red berries appear. Since the Virburnum is not an evergreen, it will lose its leaves in the fall.
4) This bush is a native Pennsylvania bush.
5) While the tag on our Summer Snowflake Virburnum indicated that it likes part sun/shade, we planted two and the one in the full sun grows way faster and looks better. Based on my internet research, I confirmed that this bush likes full sun to part sun.
6) If you don’t trim it like we do, the Summer Snowflake will have wide tiered branches. This bush will reach 8 feet tall and wide!
7) The cold hardiness of this bush is down to Zone 5.
The last bloom that I showed off from my garden was Heritage River Birch Trees.
