If you want a traditional looking round cabbage, check out these varieties that are more compact:
1) Copenhagen Market – this one is green.
2) Red Acre – this one is red.
Savoy cabbage has wrinkled leaves:

6) Savoy Perfection
Conical or conehead cabbage saves some space in the garden:
7) Caraflax
8) Cour Di Bue
The following are Napa or Chinese cabbage varieties and have a mild flavor:
1) One Kilo Slow Bolt – I typically grow this one each year.

4) Emiko
