I have seed packets for two varieties of Calendula. One is called Snow Princess and the other is Pacific Beauty which comes in orange, apricot and yellow. While the seeds look the same, I want to save the seeds by variety and color.
Seed Saving Tips:
1) Leave the Calendula flower head to dry on the plant.
2) Once the flower head is completely dry like the one on the right, cut it off.
3) Remove the brown seeds from the flower head that are in a half moon shape to store. They will look like the seeds up front in the photo.
4)Â Leave the Calendula seeds out to dry for another week.
5) Store the seeds in a brown bag or envelope until next season.
