I grew this Purple Plum Radish several years ago and found the seeds again this year! Last time I grew it, I planted earlier in the spring under cover and they got huge. They still tasted good. This time, I harvested them at the normal size. They are excellent!
Features:
1) The skin is purple and the flesh is white with some purple markings.
2) The normal size for Purple Plum Radishes is 1 1/2 inches across.
3) This radish matures in 28 days.
4) Purple Plum Radishes are resistant to cracking.
5) These radishes should be spaced 2 inches apart.
6) Purple Plum Radishes are milder and sweeter than most radishes.
7) Like all summer radishes, this variety prefers the cooler temperatures in the spring and fall.
The last veggie variety I highlighted was Red Russian Kale.
