In addition to the Mi Amigo Margarita, I had to share another fabulous cocktail that we had in Colorado. The Post Road Cocktail had an unusual name and ingredients. Who knew you could put lemongrass in a cocktail? I ordered Post Road (see the cocktail on the right in the photo) at the Sweet Basil Restaurant in Vail, Colorado.
Ingredients:
Pueblo Viejo Reposado Tequila
Cappelletti – a wine based Italian red bitter aperitif
Giffards Passionfruit – liqueur made from concentrated passion fruit juice
Lemongrass
Lime
Luxardo Cherry
