Mango Habanero Whiskey Sour

If you recall, I previously highlighted a great cocktail from the Juniper Grill which was a Prickly Pear Margarita.  We went back to the Juniper Grill for dinner and to try out a new cocktail.  This time I had a Mango Habanero Whisky Sour.  When you look at the title and the ingredients, don’t be scared of the HOT habanero.  When hot peppers are mixed with something sweet, they take on a subdued flavor.  See below for the main ingredients of this plant based cocktail . . .

Ingredients:

Ole Smoky Mango Habanero Whiskey

Freshly Squeezed Sours – most folks make sours with simple syrup, lemon and lime

Egg White

Don’t forget the blood orange slice.
