Lantana Varieties

Lucky Lantanas

While I have been growing Lucky Lantanas for several years, they are only annuals in Pittsburgh PA.

Features:

1) The color options are beautiful!  My favorite is Lucky Sunrise Rose which has pink, orange and yellow flowers in one cluster.  My second favorite is Lucky Red which has orange and yellow flowers. There are other color options but the combos will be of different shades of white, purple, pink, orange and/or yellow.

2) Pollinators including butterflies and hummingbirds like them.

3) Lantanas like full sun.

4) They grow up to 16 inches tall and wide.

5) Lantanas are drought and heat tolerant.

6) They are deer resistant which is always a bonus!

7) This is another plant that can be brought indoors to overwinter like Mona Lavender Plectranthus!

8) You can get more lantanas by cutting newer growth and rooting it in water.

9) Lantanas bloom from summer to fall here.

Since my last bloom article was on the Signet Marigolds, I thought it was about time I shared another article.
