Alan and I recently went to Spain for an awesome vacation. I am sharing a few roses that we saw in Madrid at La Rosaleda. Rosaleda is the rose garden in Parque del Retiro (Retiro Park). Retiro Park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Even though we did not go at the peak season, the rose garden was so beautiful!
If you take a look at this map of Rosaleda, you can see the varieties that they have growing there. The rose varieties include:
Rosales Antiguos: Portland, China, Hibrido Perpetuo, Gallica, Borboniano, Alba, Centifolia
Rosales Modernos: Hibrido de Te, Floribunda, Paisajista, Mintura, Hibrido Rugoso
