Coral Bell Varieties

Guacamole Coral Bells

When I saw coral bells at the store, I thought they looked too delicate to survive the winters in Pittsburgh.  I am so glad that I was wrong!  When I saw the Guacamole Coral Bells, I decided to give them a try.  I always love a pop of color.

Features:

1) This variety has beautiful lime green leaves.

2) Since Guacamole Coral Bells love the shade, I placed them under a tree.

3) This variety grows in a mound between 1 to 2 feet tall and wide.

4) Coral Bells are evergreens so they look great in the yard year round.

5) While they are supposed to be deer resistant, I would use deer and rabbit repellant because rabbits love them!

6) Guacamole Coral Bells have creamy white flowers that bloom in late spring through early summer.

7) This variety is hardy down to zone 4.

Another evergreen we like in our yard is the Goldy Western Arborvitae.
