Foodie Ideas From Pittsburgh Restaurants

Green Chickpea Salad

We went to the LeMont Restaurant on the top of Mt. Washington overlooking the city of Pittsburgh.  I had the best salad!  The rest of my dinner did not disappoint!

Ingredients:

Green Chickpeas

Arugula

Romaine

Fresh Diced Pears

Toasted Pistachios

Cherry Tomatoes

Pomegranate Seeds

Homemade White Balsamic Vinaigrette

The photo only shows 1/2 of the salad because I split it with Alan.

I never had green chickpeas on a salad.  Last salad I shared was Off the Beet-En Path. which had black bean cakes – I love to try different veggie combinations!
