Craft Beer Sampler from Oregon

Craft Beer Sampler At McMenamins

If you ever have the opportunity to go to Washington or Oregon, you need to check out one of the McMenamins locations.  This time, we went to the McMenamins Roseburg Station in Roseburg, OR with our friend Dell and Debbie.

We shared the following beer sampler and I’ve included descriptions:

Creepy Swallow Nut Brown – caramel, toffee, chestnut, balanced

Ruby Ale – light raspberry, fruity, crisp effervescent, pink

Passport Pilsner– light, straw, crisp, bright, floral, refreshing

Hammerhead – Northwest pale, caramel, balanced, mildly bitter, pine, citrus

McMenamins Irish Stout – black smooth, dry, roasty, baking chocolate, bitter

Valley Fog Hazy IPA – hazy, pale, mango, pineapple, tangerine, citrus

While I liked the Passport Pilsner the best, Alan’s favorite was the McMenamins Irish Stout.  The last sampler we shared was at SeaQuake Brewing.
