In the fall, we just seem to be overloaded with a lot of plants that we are pulling or trimming back. We finally purchased a chipper shredder – I love it!
Items to Shred:
Dry garden waste – don’t want it damp as it may clog the chipper/shredder.
Branches, twigs and stems.
Leaves and other small garden material – There’s a push stick so you can feed it into the hopper.
Don’t Shred:
Metal
Rocks
Glass
Cans
Soil – this may clog the chipper/shredder
