Now I would never use yellow sticky traps outside but I do inside to catch the little bad bugs. Since my grow room is in the garage, we often keep the garage door open when we are gardening which invites the bad bugs in. Some examples of the little bad bugs include flea beetle, fleas, aphids and thrips. There may be more but they are the usual suspects.
The reason why I would not use yellow sticky traps outside is because they will attract pollinators like bees. We want to save the bees not kill them. Good and bad bugs are attracted to yellow so you need to be very careful!
Since I could not find these traps locally, I bought from Amazon. They do the trick.
