I looked up the name via Google Translate and Tonda di Parigi is Italian for Round of Paris.
Best Features:
1) These carrots are great for roasting, grilling or snacking.
2) Tonda di Parigi are shallow rooted so you can grow them in the ground or in a container. This winter I am going to try growing them inside in my grow room in a container.
3) They grow to about 2 inches wide and long – how cute!
4) This carrot is considered a French heirloom but has an Italian name – not sure why!
5) As with all homegrown carrots, they are sweet and tender.
6) You only need to space them 2 inches apart – love saving space.
7) Tonda di Parigi will tolerate heavy soils too!
