Sweet Banana Peppers are always a staple in my garden!
Features:
- Unlike its cousin, this Banana Pepper is sweet.
- Sweet banana peppers will grow up to 6 inches long.
- While the plants only get to 2 feet tall, they are very productive!
- Of course, these peppers are nice and crunchy!
- Sweet Banana Peppers taste yummy fresh, grilled and roasted in Italian dishes. Also, I’ve heard that they are good for pickling. My favorite is to stuff them with Italian sausage and serve them with pasta and red sauce!
- While they start out as pale green, they turn to yellow when they are ready to be harvested. Don’t worry if they turn orange or red, they will still taste good and sweet.
The last pepper variety that I gave my inner thoughts on was Gigantea Poblano Peppers.
