Unlike cilantro and dill, parsley thrives in the summer heat.
Outdoor Sowing Tips:  1) In order to germinate, parsley seeds prefer soil temperature between 50°F and 75°F. This means that you can start sowing outdoors a few weeks prior to the last spring frost.  2) Parsley seeds should be sowed 1/4″ deep. 3) I typically only grow one parsley plant at a time. If you grow several, you should space them 8 to 12 inches apart.
Indoor Sowing Tips:  1) Sow the seeds 1/4″ deep in seed trays under grow lights in early spring (about 2 month before your average last frost date). 2) Once the parsley seedling is a few inches tall, I usually transplant into smaller pot in the grow room 4) Water the seedlings from below. 3) After hardening off the seedling, I will transplant the parsley when it is about 5 inches tall in late spring.
Growing Tips: 4) Keep the parsley seedlings and plants moist but not soggy! I use a drip system.
