While I grow peas, sugar snaps and snow peas which have lovely flowers before the pods develop, this is the first year that I grew sweet peas from seed. Sweet Peas are beautiful flowers.
Features:
1) This sweet pea variety comes in the following colors. . . pink, mauve, violet and white
2) The flowers will bloom from spring to fall.
3) It is a perennial in zones 3 through 8 – how cool is that!
4) This sweet pea enjoys full sun to part shade.
5) The vines can reach up to 9 feet tall.
6) Bees like sweet peas flowers which are about 1 inch.
7) We’ve had a lot of heat this July and these flowers are still blooming because they are heat tolerant!
