If you can find the olive herb at a plant store, don’t hesitate to pick it up. I can usually only find it in the spring.
Features:
- It is a pretty and delicate looking plant with needle-like leaves. The leaves range from light to dark green.
- The olive herb’s green leaves taste and smell like olives – I kid you not!
- Snip the green leaves to include on your salad with an Italian type dressing, in your Italian dishes like spaghetti and pizza or garnish your martini!
- The olive herb will grow up 2 feet.
- It is a woody herb like rosemary.
- This herb likes full sun.
- Olive herb is a perennial even here in Pittsburgh, PA. If you don’t believe me, bring it in for the winter!
