If you can find the olive herb at a plant store, don’t hesitate to pick it up. I can usually only find it in the spring.
Best Features:
1) It is a pretty and delicate looking plant with needle like leaves. The leaves range from light to dark green.
2) The olive herb’s green leaves taste and smell like olives – I kid you not!
3) Snip the green leaves to include on your salad with an Italian type dressing, include it in your Italian dishes like spaghetti and pizza or garnish your martini!
4) The olive herb will grow up 2 feet.
5) It is a woody herb like rosemary.
6) This herb likes full sun.
7) While the olive herb is a perennial in some warmer locations, I decided to bring it indoors this year. So far it looks good!
This year I brought this herb inside so I could enjoy it over the winter!
