These herb scissors make it so easy to cut various herbs and green leaf vegetables.
First of all, I bought this pair of herb scissors from Gardener’s Supply. These scissors have five blades and four spaces for cutting herbs and greens uniformly. The herb scissors provide about 3 inches of blade length for cutting. If you are a gourmet cook, you may want to use a sharp knife for slicing. Since I am not a gourmet cook and a menace with knives, I prefer to use the herb scissors.  Another feature is that there is a blade cover that also doubles as a tool to remove any stuck herbs or greens from between the blades.
For uniform slices, I use the herb scissors for chives, scallions, tarragon and rosemary.
For smaller slices, I use the herb scissors for herbs like parsley.
If you want a chiffonade, you can roll the leaf of an herb like basil or a vegetable like spinach or swiss chard and use the herb scissors to create a curl by slicing perpendicular to the roll.
Yesterday we discussed another kitchen herb gadget call an herb cube tray.
