In addition to the Sierra Restaurant, my friends took me to the Denver Botanic Gardens – what a beautiful place! These gardens consists of a 23 acre park with a conservatory, theme gardens and an ampitheater. It’s claim to fame is that it has North America’s largest collection of plants from cold temperate climates from all around the world.  The day I went there it wasn’t cool as it was a whopping 97℉! The Denver Botanic gardens includes a lot of plants from Colorado and nearby states. My favorite part of the gardens was the waterlilies in the featured photo above.
