Sweet Banana Peppers were the first peppers to be harvested in my garden this year.
Best Features:
1) While I like hot peppers, I still like sweet peppers!
2) Sweet banana peppers will grow up to 6 inches long.
3) While the plants only get to 2 feet tall, they are very productive!
4) They are nice and crunchy!
5) Sweet Banana Peppers taste yummy fresh, grilled and roasted or cooked in Italian dishes. Also, I’ve heard that they are good for pickling.
6) While they start out as pale green, they turn to yellow when they are ready to be harvested. Don’t worry if they turn orange or red, they will still taste good and sweet.
