These Lemon Cucumbers are sooooo cute!  Got the seeds last year from Ferry-Morse.

They are ready to be picked once they turn lemon yellow and are 3 1/2 inches long.  Don’t forget that they are round like a baseball, not oblong like their green cousins.   They have little stubs on them that come right off with your hands.  They are tender and not bitter.

They taste good in a salad and are supposed to be good for making pickles.  I pickled a few and canned them, but haven’t tasted them yet!

Considering how little they are, they do have quite a few seeds.
