I attended a beautiful wedding on Saturday at the Biltmore. The salad presentation was so unique that I have to share it with you. It consisted of baby lettuce bundled in the middle by a very thin slice of cucumber topped with champagne vinaigrette, gorganzola, pecans and pears. It looked elegant and was tasty.
Earlier in the day, I toured the Biltmore. Also, I did some taste testing in the gift shops and purchased a salad dressing assortment. The assortment includes the following flavors: 1) Cabernet Poppy Seed, 2) Creamy Vidalia Onion and 3) Summer Tomato and Sweet Onion.
